🔧 How To Install

  1. Mount the valve securely on the top opening of the softener vessel.
  2. Connect inlet, outlet, and drain pipelines according to valve markings.
  3. Ensure the riser pipe and distributor assembly are properly aligned.
  4. Tighten all threaded joints using suitable sealing tape.
  5. Connect the brine line if required for regeneration operation.
  6. Slowly introduce water into the system and inspect all joints for leakage.
  7. Perform initial regeneration and rinse cycles before placing the softener into service mode.

⚙️ How It Works

The 20 NB Top Mount Sky Facing Softener Multiport Valve controls water flow through the softener vessel during different operating cycles.

In service mode, hard water passes through the resin bed where hardness-causing minerals such as calcium and magnesium are removed. During regeneration mode, brine solution flows through the resin bed to restore the resin’s ion exchange capacity. Rinse mode flushes remaining brine and settles the resin before returning the system to normal softening operation.

The bypass mode allows water flow while isolating the softener during maintenance or servicing.
