🔧 इंस्टॉल कैसे करें

1. Select the Mounting Location

Install the panel on a suitable, stable surface with adequate space for wiring and operation.

The Astero NXT Autovalve supports wall or panel mounting. The overall enclosure size is 235 × 260 × 130 mm, with a specified panel cutout of 190 × 222 mm.

2. Secure the Panel

For mounting, the supplied M4 nuts can be used with the panel mounting arrangement. The manual's mounting drawing specifies the mounting dimensions and hardware.

3. Provide Electrical Supply

Use an appropriate electrical supply and ensure proper earthing before commissioning.

The manual specifies an incoming wire size of 2.5 sq.mm.

4. Connect Pumps

Connect the duty and standby pumps to the designated Pump 1 and Pump 2 terminals according to the selected panel configuration and wiring diagram.

For the NXT 11 configuration, the recommended pump rating is 2 HP single phase for Pump 1 and 2 HP single phase for Pump 2.

5. Connect Sensors & Control Inputs

Connect the required:

  • Raw water level input
  • Treated water level input
  • Pump contact signal
  • Dosing tank level
  • UV input, where applicable
  • Remote fault input
  • Flow sensor
  • Other configured auxiliary inputs

Use the terminal arrangement provided in the panel manual for the specific installation.

6. Connect the Automatic Multiport Valve

Connect the automatic multiport valve according to the selected valve configuration and the manufacturer's wiring requirements.

The Astero NXT Autovalve is designed to accommodate different types of automatic multiport valves.

7. Configure the Operating Mode

After wiring and commissioning, use the panel's interface to select the required operating mode:

  • Auto
  • Semi-Auto
  • Manual

In Manual Mode, the pump can be selected through the interface, while the panel continues to maintain its motor protection functions.

8. Test the System

Before putting the plant into regular operation:

  • Verify pump rotation and connections.
  • Check tank-level signals.
  • Check pump contact feedback.
  • Verify the automatic valve sequence.
  • Confirm flow indication.
  • Test standby-pump changeover.
  • Verify dosing and auxiliary outputs where used.

Installation and electrical commissioning should be carried out by a suitably qualified technician.

The Astero NXT Autovalve acts as the central controller for an automatic filtration or softening system.

1. Monitors Plant Inputs

The controller receives signals from the system's level switches, pump contacts, dosing level, UV input, remote fault and flow monitoring points.

2. Runs the Programmed Treatment Logic

The panel uses its pre-programmed filter/softener logic to coordinate the treatment process and automatic valve operation.

This reduces the need for the operator to manually control individual treatment steps.

3. Controls the Pumps

The controller operates Pump 1 and Pump 2 and can automatically change over to the standby pump when required.

This provides greater operational continuity for systems equipped with duty/standby pumping.

4. Controls the Automatic Multiport Valve

The panel is designed to work with automatic multiport valves used in filtration and softening applications, allowing the treatment system's valve operations to be automated.

5. Monitors Flow

The built-in flow indicator provides flow-rate information, while the totaliser records accumulated flow.

6. Protects the Motors

The controller continuously considers motor operating conditions and provides protection against:

  • Overload
  • Single phasing
  • Dry running

These protections remain active even when the panel is operated manually.

7. Displays Plant Status

The 16×2 LCD provides operating information, while the 5-LED mimic diagram provides visual I/O indication. The different-colored backlight helps distinguish healthy and fault conditions.

8. Provides Flexible Operation

Depending on the application, the operator can use:

AUTO → Automatic operation according to programmed logic
SEMI-AUTO → Operator-assisted operation
MANUAL → Direct pump control for testing and maintenance

The manual also provides dedicated controls for selecting the system mode, enabling/bypassing the treated-water float and starting/stopping Pump 1 or Pump 2.
