🔧 How to install

  1. Ensure both pipe ends are properly grooved and clean.
  2. Check that the groove dimensions are compatible with the coupling.
  3. Place the supplied gasket over one pipe end.
  4. Bring the two pipe ends together and align them correctly.
  5. Position the gasket centrally over the joint.
  6. Place the coupling housing over the gasket and engage it with both pipe grooves.
  7. Install and tighten the coupling bolts evenly.
  8. Check the alignment and ensure the coupling is properly seated.
  9. Pressurize the system gradually and inspect the joint for leakage.

Important: Always use the coupling, gasket, groove dimensions, and tightening procedure specified for the particular model and pipe system.

❓ How it works

A Victaulic coupling joins two pipes through grooved ends rather than welding or threading.

The coupling is positioned over the pipe ends with a rubber gasket providing the seal. When the coupling housing is tightened, it grips the grooves on both pipes and compresses the gasket.

This creates a secure, sealed mechanical joint while still allowing the connection to be dismantled when required for maintenance.
