💧 Key Benefits

  • Excellent dirt-holding capacity for longer replacement cycles
  • Protects RO membranes, pumps, valves & process equipment
  • Suitable for raw water and wastewater filtration
  • Cost-effective solution for commercial and industrial use
  • Performs reliably under continuous operation
  • Broad chemical compatibility for multiple applications

💧 Clarywound Ultra String Wound Technology

Clarywound Ultra cartridges are engineered with precision string winding, creating a true gradient density structure—coarser filtration on the outer layers and tighter filtration toward the core.

This design:

  • Improves sediment capture efficiency
  • Delays clogging
  • Maintains stable flow over time
  • Ensures optimum protection of downstream equipment

The jumbo outer diameter significantly increases filtration area, making it ideal for high-volume and high-sediment water sources.

🔧 How To Install

  1. Select the Right Cartridge: Choose the correct micron rating (e.g., 1, 5, 10 micron) and size (10”, 20”, etc.) based on your filtration requirement.
  2. Insert into Filter Housing: Open the filter housing and place the cartridge properly inside. Ensure the O-ring and sealing are correctly aligned to avoid leakage.
  3. Tighten the Housing: Close and tighten the housing firmly using a housing wrench if required.
  4. Flush Before Use: Run water for 5–10 minutes to flush out any loose particles or carbon fines (especially for carbon cartridges).
  5. Regular Replacement: Replace the cartridge after pressure drop increases or after its recommended life (typically 1–3 months depending on water quality).

⚙️ How It Works

Filter cartridges remove impurities from water through physical and/or chemical filtration processes.

  1. Sediment Filtration (Physical Removal): PP spun and pleated cartridges trap sand, dirt, rust, and suspended particles based on micron size.
  2. Depth Filtration: In depth filters (like spun cartridges), water passes through multiple layers, capturing particles throughout the thickness of the filter.
  3. Surface Filtration: Pleated or string-wound cartridges capture particles mainly on the outer surface, allowing easy cleaning and higher flow.
  4. Activated Carbon Action (Chemical Filtration): Carbon cartridges adsorb chlorine, odor, color, and organic impurities, improving taste and smell.
  5. Multi-Stage Protection: Cartridges act as a pre-filtration stage, protecting RO membranes and other equipment from clogging and damage.
