Accurate pressure monitoring made reliable — even under vibration and pressure fluctuations.

This Glycerin Filled Back Connection Pressure Gauge is designed for accurate and steady pressure measurement in low- to medium-pressure industrial and water treatment applications, especially where panel mounting is required. The glycerin filling dampens needle vibration, ensuring smooth pointer movement, clear visibility, and longer service life under fluctuating pressure conditions.

Ideal for RO control panels, dosing systems, pumps, and utility pipelines where precise pressure monitoring is essential.

🌊 Applications

Pressure enters the gauge through the 1/4” BSP back connection and acts on the internal Bourdon tube. As the pressure increases, the Bourdon tube flexes and moves the pointer across the calibrated dial.

The glycerin filling absorbs vibration and pressure shocks, preventing needle flutter and ensuring:
Smooth needle movement
Stable and accurate readings
Longer internal component life

This makes the gauge ideal for panel-mounted systems with steady or mildly fluctuating pressure.

⚙️ How it works

Pressure enters the gauge through the 1/4” BSP back connection and acts on the internal Bourdon tube. As the pressure increases, the Bourdon tube flexes and moves the pointer across the calibrated dial.

The glycerin filling absorbs vibration and pressure shocks, preventing needle flutter and ensuring:
Smooth needle movement
Stable and accurate readings
Longer internal component life

This makes the gauge ideal for panel-mounted systems with steady or mildly fluctuating pressure.

🔧 How to install

  1. Shut down the system pressure and make sure the line is completely depressurized.
  2. Prepare the panel or mounting surface where the gauge will be installed. Back connection gauges are typically used for panel mounting.
  3. Insert the gauge from the front side of the panel, aligning the mounting holes or bracket.
  4. Connect the 3/8″ or 1/4″ BSP threaded back connection to the pipeline fitting or tubing using PTFE tape or thread sealant.
  5. Secure the gauge using panel mounting clamps or screws so it sits firmly in place.
  6. Ensure the dial is properly aligned and easy to read from the front of the panel.
  7. Gradually restore system pressure and inspect the connection for leaks.
