Industrial Grade Durability

💧 Key Benefits
Corrosion Resistant
FRP construction provides excellent resistance to rust and corrosion, making the vessel suitable for wet and humid water-treatment environments.
Compact & Space Efficient
The 8-inch diameter provides a relatively small footprint while the 44-inch height provides adequate media-bed depth for filtration applications.
Lightweight Construction
Compared with conventional metal vessels, FRP construction makes transportation, handling and installation easier.
Versatile Media Compatibility
The vessel can accommodate different types of filtration media depending on the required water treatment process.
Low Maintenance
FRP does not require regular painting or anti-rust coating, reducing routine maintenance requirements.
Suitable for RO Pre-Treatment
The vessel can be used as part of pre-treatment systems before RO, depending on the raw water quality and selected media.

🪨 Common Media Selection
- Water Filtration Sand – for reduction of suspended solids and turbidity.
- Activated Carbon – for reducing chlorine, odour, taste and certain organic contaminants.
- Iron Removal Media – for reducing dissolved iron under suitable water chemistry and operating conditions.
- Cation Exchange Resin – for reducing hardness in water softening applications.
- Multi-Media Combinations – for applications requiring enhanced particulate filtration.
- Specialized Media – selected according to specific raw-water contaminants and treatment requirements.
Media selection should be based on raw water analysis, required flow rate and desired treated-water quality.
🔧 How to Install
- Place the vessel vertically on a stable and level surface.
- Install a compatible top-mount multiport or automatic control valve.
- Ensure the internal distributor/strainer assembly is properly fitted.
- Add the recommended underbed material, where applicable.
- Fill the vessel with the selected filtration media.
- Maintain sufficient freeboard above the media bed.
- Connect the inlet, outlet and drain piping correctly.
- Check the complete installation for leakage.
- Perform an initial backwash and rinse cycle.
- Start normal filtration within the recommended operating flow and pressure limits.
For softener applications, connect the vessel to a suitable brine tank and regeneration system.
Important: All installation, commissioning, and servicing work must be carried out only by qualified water-treatment professionals. Improper or unprofessional installation may result in equipment or plant failure, potentially creating serious or fatal safety hazards. It may also lead to contaminated or poor-quality water, which can cause health risks, damage to industrial machinery, and operational failures.
⚙️ How it Works
The FRP vessel contains a selected filtration media bed through which water flows under pressure.
- Raw water enters through the top-mounted control valve.
- Water flows downward through the filtration media.
- The media captures, adsorbs or exchanges the targeted impurities.
- Treated water reaches the bottom distributor.
- The distributor collects the treated water and directs it toward the outlet.
- When required, the media is backwashed to remove accumulated impurities.
- The vessel is rinsed before returning to normal filtration.
The contaminants removed depend on the type of media installed inside the vessel.
