🔧 How to Install

  1. Place the vessel vertically on a stable and level surface.
  2. Install a compatible top-mount multiport or automatic control valve.
  3. Ensure the internal distributor/strainer assembly is correctly installed.
  4. Add the recommended underbed material, where applicable.
  5. Fill the vessel with the selected filtration media.
  6. Maintain sufficient freeboard above the media bed.
  7. Connect inlet, outlet and drain piping correctly.
  8. Check all connections for leakage.
  9. Perform an initial backwash and rinse cycle.
  10. Start normal operation within the recommended flow and pressure limits.

For softener applications, connect the vessel to a suitable brine tank and regeneration system.

⚙️ How it Works

The 13" × 54" FRP vessel holds a selected filtration media bed through which water flows under pressure.

  1. Raw water enters through the top-mounted control valve.
  2. Water flows downward through the filtration media.
  3. The selected media captures, adsorbs or exchanges the targeted impurities.
  4. Treated water reaches the bottom distributor.
  5. The distributor collects the filtered water and directs it toward the outlet.
  6. When required, the media is backwashed to remove accumulated impurities.
  7. The vessel is rinsed before returning to normal filtration operation.

The contaminants removed depend on the type and quantity of media installed.
